Claude Design Creates Professional Branded Slides in Minutes But Export Issues Block Real-World Use

The new Claude Design is really good at creating slides in your corporate brand. Not production ready yet but serious progress. Here is an example.

You just point it to your website and boom - Claude extracts your brand colors, fonts, and visual identity to build a complete design system. What used to take design teams weeks now happens in minutes.

The slides it generates look genuinely impressive. Clean layouts, proper brand consistency, professional typography - it's getting scary good at this stuff.

But here's the catch: exporting is still broken. PDF exports mess up the formatting, PowerPoint files don't import cleanly, and HTML output has rendering issues. So while the design work is solid, you can't actually USE these slides in real meetings yet.

Still, I'm betting we'll have fully functional slide generation by end of 2026. The core design intelligence is already there - it's just the technical plumbing that needs fixing.

This feels like one of those "almost there" moments where AI jumps from impressive demo to actual workflow replacement. Design and consulting teams should definitely be paying attention.
